It has been 6-7( ヾ(゚о゚)ノ) months since I finished The last of Us, and I finished part 2 in 4 weeks ago. I got into it because I had heard people rave about it online and its post apocalyptic vibe and grounded feeling attrarcted me to play it. Despite all the hype and all the expectations, nothing could have prepared me for what I was about to experience. In the times we live in, we have access to basically every form of media in the world. As a child, I had seen my brother going to various houses to get episodes of shows on a pen drive from his friends that were not accessible to us via normal means. This is how I saw Fairy Tail and then Naruto. Those shows were the first exposure I had to a form of media where we follow characters and see their growth over a long span of time. What I experienced with those two shows was that I had built a connection with the main characters. As I grew every day, I saw them grow with me and achieve goals they wanted to fulfill while facing extreme hardships and coming out a better person. As you grow up though, you get exposed to so many movies and shows, you begin to see their formula and that ruins the immersion you have in the world they build — through no fault of their own. These are shōnen (built for young kids) for a reason. I went through the normal arc where you proceed to the upper echelon of shows, the attack of titans, the severances, the arcanes, and though they are Absolute Cinema, I never felt attatched to their characters the same way as I got to a Natsu or a Naruto. Ofcourse they are superior in all the other ways, but with the main characters, I would empathize with them, but not feel attatched to them the same way.

Well this is the spoiler warning cause I am about to discuss the knook and cranny of the game now.
